New album 'One look'
Metro Moon’s debut album, ‘One Look’, released May 10th. It consists of 9 tracks with an interesting range of style and emotion. The album was written, performed, recorded, and produced by Griffin Marion. Guest musicians include Hannah Steinert (background vocals) and Lars Quincke (piano). Mixing and mastering was done by Mike Butler from Lost Ark Studio’s. All art was done by Lauren Marion.
About metro moon
Metro Moon is currently a solo project led by multi-instrumentalist Griffin Marion. Most accomplished as a jazz saxophonist, Griffin created Metro Moon as a way to branch out and explore other areas of music. Despite his strongest musical knowledge being in jazz, his influences are largely from classic and contemporary rock. Bands and artists such as John Mayer, Eagles, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Pink Floyd, and others, are what primarily drive his songwriting. With his musical background and diverse musical influences, Metro Moon provides a unique and interesting listening experience. Metro Moon’s debut 9 track album, ‘One Look’, released May 10th 2019.
